What we did Today!

My apologies for not writing for the past two days. I have had a substitute in the classroom due to illness.

The past three days (Mon, Tues, Wed) all classes have been working on papers on the topic of Greece.
These include:
1) Persian Wars
2) At War/Weapons
3) Alexander the Great
4) Peloponnesian Wars
5) Roman Threat/Timeline
6) Review Quiz 1 and 2 (these are not graded as a real quiz)

These papers should have been completed as of today; however, there are some students still not done. I will allow time in class tomorrow to continue to work on these.

The Reveiw Quizzes do NOT need to be done at this time. We will work on those Friday.

Block 3 had a homework assignment on Monday. They received 3 quotes from famous Greeks. They were to write 6-8 sentences about their thoughts on each quote. This should have included 3 separate paragraphs. The substitute did not collect these on Tuesday and so I collected them today.

Block 1 started watching the Devil's Arithmetic in class which is based on the Holocaust.

There are NO CURRENT EVENTS this week. It is my Spring Break present to the students.
